Brazil is the biggest producer of coffee in the world. The best production areas are Cerrado, Sul de Minas and Alta Mogiana. The coffee is grown at an altitude ranging from 200 to 1000 m ASL, while the harvest begins in June and ends in August. Brazilian coffee provides an excellent base for any type of blend and nicely complements any other raw coffee, enhancing its pleasantness. It is a very balanced, medium-bodied coffee with an elegant sweetness, and has a soft density with a strong aftertaste of cocoa and a vague hint of dried prunes. These traits are the result of a special and unique micro-environment in which this exceptional variety of Arabica coffee is grown.
